TOWNS OF ROSENDALE & MARBLETOWN
The Towns of Rosendale & Marbletown in Ulster County are looking for a Full-Time
Assessor to work under a Shared Services Agreement. Rosendale consists of 2800 parcels
and Marbletown consists of 3800 parcels for a total of 6600 parcels.

Applicants must meet minimum qualification standards before being appointed to the office of assessor. The training and qualification requirements for Sole Appointed Assessors are defined in 20 NYCRR 8188 (§8188-2.2).
The responsibilities of Assessor include but are not limited to:
Prepare Annual Assessment Roll
Data Collection of New Construction
Processing of Exemptions
Working with Internal Government Departments
Working with Outside Agencies
Prepare Annual Budget
Work with Board of Assessment Review
The Salary will be based on qualifications and there is a full benefits package available.
