Supervisor Walsh called the meeting to order at 9:15 am with the Pledge to the Flag at the Rondout Municipal Center followed by a moment of silence for Lydia La Fera Baluch, James Wilson, Trudy Mclnerney, Agnes Hilmi, Joseph Magliocco III, Joseph McCall, Paul Herrling, Donald Krom, Anthony Cacchio, George Floyd and all of those who were killed during riots, protests, and unrest across the nation.

Supervisor Walsh made a statement that the Rondout Municipal Center (RMC) Building will remain closed to the public until July 31st; all offices are still available for limited hours but can be reached through phone calls and email. In response to the death of George Floyd, Supervisor Walsh read a statement from Chief Schaffrick. (Please see attached)
Supervisor Walsh made a motion to approve the May 13th Minutes, 2nd by Councilman Pryslopski. Roll Vote: 5 Yes.

Supervisor Walsh reminded the public that the pool and all summer programs have been canceled. The Town may be able to reevaluate in August to see if there are any programs that can be opened up again.

The Council Members will report the last few months of financials at the July meeting. Supervisor’s Report Read.
Supervisor Walsh stated that sometime this month they will go out to bid for two generators, one for the RMC Building and one for the Bathhouse. The information will be posted as soon as they have the details on that.
Supervisor Walsh made a motion to accept the Resignation of Zachary Mitchell effective 5/31/2020, 2nd by Councilman Igoe. Roll Vote: 5 Yes.
Supervisor Walsh made a motion to hire Anthony LaRocca and Garrett Lapp as Police Officer at $11.80 per hour for no more than 20 hours per week effective 7/1/2020, 2nd by Councilman Igoe. Roll Vote: 5 Yes.
Supervisor Walsh made a motion to accept the letter of temporary furlough from Mary Alice Klepeis effective 5/31/2020, 2nd by Councilman Pryslopski. Roll Vote: 5 Yes.
Supervisor Walsh mentioned that the Work Share Unemployment will remain in effect for 19 employees until July 31st; this program is saving the Town $67,000.00 and she is still trimming other budgets to compensate for loss of revenue this year.
Supervisor Walsh made a motion to approve the vouchers and pay the bills; the Deputy Town Clerk read the Funds and Voucher #’s out loud:

Supervisor Walsh made a motion to move Town Board Meeting on July 8 th to 9:00 am, 2nd by Councilman Pryslopski. Roll Vote: 5 Yes.
Supervisor Walsh made a motion to adjourn at 10:10 am, 2nd by Councilman Klepeis. ROLL VOTE: 5 YES.
