RCPRC Meeting Minutes

1. Attendance.

• Terry Johnson – Volunteer Committee Member – Was not able to attend
• Jennifer Bliss – Volunteer Committee Member, Chair
• Ted Dixon – Volunteer Committee Member, Vice Chair
• Josh Baron – Volunteer Committee Member, Secretary
• Rich Wright – Volunteer Committee Member
• Marc Cassidy – Volunteer Committee Member,
• Chief Scott Schaffrick – Chief of Police, Rosendale Police Department
• Councilman Matt Igoe – Rosendale Town Council Member (non-voting member, Police Commission liaison)
• Councilwoman Carrie Wykoff – Rosendale Town Council Member (non-voting member, Town Council liaison)
• Jessieca McNabb (Volunteer Committee Member)
• ADA Blackmon – did not attend

2. Confirming 11/10 as our new public meeting date.

We discussed the technical concerns that the Town raised regarding use of Zoom alone given prior “Zoom bombing” issues and our new plans to stream the virtual public meeting via Facebook (as well as plans to do a full test prior to the first meeting).  The new date for the meeting was confirmed as November 10th and final text to promote the meeting was approved.  Town Council Members noted the need for more advance notice regarding posting information to the Town website given limited staffing at the moment.

3. Review action items for the first virtual meeting.

We reviewed the status of the presentation slides and the final materials needed.  We also finalized plans for a “dry run” presentation for the 9th.

4. Action items for after the public meeting.

We discussed how to best disseminate the slides and survey summary following the first public meeting.  We also discussed having 12/1 and 12/15 be dates for the next two public meetings.

5. Other items

Committee discussed the Work Plan timeline and the process for having our report approved and the potential funding implications if the report is not accepted.

We adjourned at 7 pm.
